The inclusion of comfortable and spacious outdoor common areas was identified as a priority for this affordable senior housing community. Britina responded by designing a landscaped courtyard, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue grill, covered patios for year-round use, a dog run, and 3,750 square feet of edible garden plots with raised beds for enhanced accessibility.
