COLLEGE + PROSPECT | FORT COLLINS, CO
Designated by the City of Fort Collins as a “gateway intersection,” this project at the corner of College and Prospect involved design, construction documentation, and close collaboration with the City, engineering partners Wilson & Company, and the City’s Art in Public Places Program. Urban design features include corner treatments, splitter islands, medians, parkway areas, sidewalks, and gathering areas while landscape improvements involve low stone walls with planter pots on columns, specialty paving, street trees in grates, and site furnishings. Local artist Robert Tully designed and fabricated a collection of stainless steel sculptures that were placed within landscape areas in the medians.
